The people of Rushen went to the polls on 24 September 2026 and I was not re-elected. Michael Crowe and Mark Kemp are the new MHKs for Rushen, and I wish them well.
Thank you to everyone who voted for me, and to everyone who gave their time to the campaign. It has been a privilege and honour to serve Rushen for the past five years.

Welcome to my website.
I have been publicly involved in politics for over a decade; first at local government level as a Member and then Chair of the Board of Port St Mary Commissioners, and then at national level as a Member of the House of Keys from 2021 - 2026. However, my interest and politics spans my entire life. As a teenager I campaigned to support my mother being elected to the local council. I was a member of Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth and attended marches to support political causes.
For the last 10 years I have been lucky enough to be immersed in Manx politics. Now I am no longer a member of Tynwald, I am taking a sideways look at politics, the mechanisms of government and unfolding events in both Manx politics and further afield in my blog From Rushen with love...
